Le Groupe LMBO a été créé en Janvier 1986, avec la création par Gérard FAVAREL d'une société de Capital Risque (SCR), la société ENTREPRISE SCR, investisseur spécialisé dans la création d'entreprises.

Avec la création en 1989 de la société de gestion LMBO Conseil et d'une société d'investissements, la SCR LMBO FINANCE, le Groupe s'est spécialisé progressivement dans les opérations de LMBO d'entreprises françaises, familiales, de taille moyenne, en privilégiant les activités de distribution et de services.

FondationduLittoral is a charitable foundation set up by LMBO Group, on May 2005. The foundation promotes the sustainable economic development of coastal zones with 3 projects : "Archipel de la mer de Garonne", "Produits agricoles du littoral" and "15° Nord".

FondationduLittoral est la fondation d'entreprise du Groupe LMBO, agréée par la Préfecture de Paris, le 11 mai dernier. Elle s'investit, dans le droit fil de nos savoirs-faire, dans le développement économique durable des zones littorales en impulsant trois projets : Archipel de la mer de Garonne, Produits Agricoles du littoral et 15 ° Nord.
